If you enjoy authors like Jane Austen, or stories like Bridgerton, then sign up for the next AHS Heritage Craft Workshop on Saturday, July 6th from 1PM to 3PM. Author and Historian, Serena Ypelaar, will be our guest instructor for "Intro to Historical Fiction Writing" at Hillary House National Historic Site! Learn about the style of writing in the 1800s, understand the traditional tools and narrative setting, then practice historical fiction storytelling for yourself. About the Guest Instructor: Serena Ypelaar is a Writer and Editor from Toronto, with a background developing educational content for museums. She holds degrees in History, English Literature, and Museum Studies, specializing in Book History and Print Culture. Serena has served as Editor-in-Chief of two digital publications while working on two historical fiction novels.
