Join us for a memorable Canada Day celebration in the heart of Canada’s Birthday Town; Aurora! The Town of Aurora is excited to host its annual Canada Day festivities on July 1, 2026. Whether you are a longtime resident or attending for the first time, there is something for everyone to experience.
Begin your celebrations by making your way to the energetic Canada Day Parade along Yonge Street. Experience the excitement as vibrant floats, cultural performers, marching bands and a sea of red and white bring the street to life! The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Murray Drive and continues north to Aurora Heights Drive, creating a perfect opportunity to enjoy the festive and patriotic atmosphere of the day!
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the celebration continues at Lambert Willson Park (135 Industrial Parkway North), where you will find live entertainment and a variety of free activities for kids, making it a perfect outing for the whole family! Do not miss the interactive Canada Day Passport, a unique experience that explores the history and culture of each province and territory in Canada. When you start to get hungry, enjoy delicious treats from local food vendors on site, along with tasty licensed beverages offered by Slabtown Armoury, to satisfy all your cravings!
As evening approaches, join us back in the park to enjoy refreshing licensed beverages from Slabtown Armoury and delicious eats from Smash N Grab Burger, available from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Beginning at 8:30 p.m., get ready to rock out to a live performance by 54-40, legendary Canadian alternative rock band known for their timeless sound and decades of unforgettable hits. The night continues at 10 p.m. with a fireworks display that will light up the sky and cap off the celebration!
