Aurora's Mayor and Council New Year's Levee
January 4, 2025 (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EST)
Description
Aurora’s Mayor and Council Levee is happening on Saturday January 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Aurora Town Square, and it’s an event you won’t want to miss! So, what exactly is a levee? Traditionally, a levee was a special occasion where leaders would gather with their community to share an optimistic outlook for the year ahead. Today, Aurora’s Mayor and Council Levee serves as an open house, offering an opportunity for the community to come together and meet their local leaders. It’s a chance to hear directly from the Mayor and Town Council about the work they’re doing, while also celebrating the spirit of our community and spreading some festive cheer. Join us on Saturday January 4 and take part in this wonderful event that not only gives you the opportunity to meet Aurora’s Mayor and Town Council, but also enjoy a variety of fun, free, family-friendly activities! Whether you’re gliding across the ice, enjoying a delicious pancake breakfast with your loved ones, or taking part in other exciting activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. It’s the perfect way to ring in the new year with your neighbors and celebrate all that makes Aurora so special. Don’t forget to mark your calendar and come ready to have a fantastic time.
