Description

Celebrate Canada Day in the heart of Canada's Birthday Town – Aurora! Get ready for an exciting day filled with fun and national pride as the Town of Aurora hosts its annual Canada Day festivities on July 1, 2025. Whether you're a life-long local or just visiting for the day, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Start your day with the vibrant Canada Day Parade along Yonge Street. Watch as the street comes alive with colourful floats, lively music, and a sea of red and white! The parade kicks off at Edward Street and travels north to Aurora Heights Drive. It’s the perfect way to start your day with a burst of Canadian spirit.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Lambert Willson Park, the fun continues with live performances and free activities for children, making it a great event for the whole family. Be sure to check out the interactive Canada Day Passport, a unique activity that takes you through the history and culture of each province and territory across Canada. And don't forget to treat yourself to delicious food from the on-site local food vendors!

As the evening approaches, the excitement continues! Starting at 7 p.m., enjoy live music that will keep you dancing well into the night, followed by a dazzling fireworks display at 10 p.m. to cap off the day in spectacular style.

Bring your family, friends, and your Canadian pride – let's celebrate the true north, strong and free!
